'RV Samaritan' Quilt Raffle
to Benefit the
Maine Children's Cancer Program
The Magic to Be Repeated in 2012!
In
2011 we brought a huge smile on the face of Mr. Greg Sirpis / Board Member of
the Maine Children’s Cancer Program when he was presented with a check for $
1,200 for the cause he and so many others work so hard for.
'It looks like he's going to be happily accepting another check for those youngsters in need again this year', says State Director Diane Qualey, 'Even before the ink had dried on last year's check, volunteer Good Sam Quilters from throughout New England and Atlantic Canada informed me that they were going to 'do it again' in 2012!'
These sewing Good Sam Family members requested and received specially acquired fabric with RVs in the pattern. Each applied there own creative 'quilting magic' to make a unique square to build this years 'RV Samaritan' Quilt.
Raffle tickets are being
distributed to each of Maine's Good Sam Chapter members for sale in their
community. Locally the tickets are being are being
sold 1 -
$1, 6 for $5.etc. We invite you to asks a Good Sam Chapter member about
the many other projects they undertake, and the great time they have enjoying
the RV lifestyle together.
