Although not officially recognized (YET!) as a Social and Cultural Center on the RV Rally Circuit,

Maine Good Sam is please to unveil their 2010 'Gender Balanced' Social Gathering Line-up.

In 2009, we introduced the first annual "Formal Ladies Tea" (which will be returning this year)

To achieve a better balance, it is with great pleasure we introduce for the 2010 Season

"The Gentlemen's Tool Swap and Handicraft Gala"

Here's how this event will function:

1.)  Men are to bring 1(one) small hand tool to the Gala. These can be new ( Approx $5 -$10 value) or a similar used tool 'in very good condition' in a brown paper or plastic bag that conceals its contents.

2.) NO fancy Wrapping Paper, Ribbons, or Bows permitted.

3.) A random 'Swapping Scheme' will redistribute the tools to other Gala attendees. There is an unlikely chance you MAY receive your own tool back!

4.) Some type of 'goodies' will be offered. Nothing fancy like little cup cakes or 'crust-less' sandwiches. Remember broken cookies tastes just as good!

5.) Rented Tuxedoes, Suit Coats, Blazers, or Neckties are NOT ALLOWED.

6.) Clothing patched with duct tape IS permitted.

7.) In the absence of a belt or suspenders the use of Bungee Cords to hold up britches is encouraged.

8.) Extended Pinkees are VERY discouraged.

9.) All attendees are encouraged to bring an easy to carry Handicraft they have made to display (and share 'how to') such as a wood carving, model, or other hand made project.
